Ghanaian lady with PhD in Chemistry to fight for Ghana in Boxing Olympic Games

Omelia Sathoud, a Ghanaian lady with PhD in Chemistry is part of Ghana's Black Bombers working relentlessly to qualify for the Boxing Olympic Games.

The passionate boxer who started fighting in 2014 indicates that she teaches Chemistry in an American high school alongside her boxing career. Omelia says the greatest challenge in fighting for Ghana has been the lack of proper training equipment and asks that they are provided with the minimum logistics at least. In a video interview granted by Omelia Sathoud to SportsObamaTV, the passionate athlete reveals that she teaches chemistry in an American high school and does the boxing at the same time. Reports indicate that Omelia is a member of Black Bombers team, the Ghana contingent sent to Senegal and is part of the team expected to qualify for the coveted Boxing Olympic Games.
