In light of the coronavirus making its way to Ghana, adjustments are now being made to live to reflect the new reality of the pandemic. School and church services have been cancelled and even the annual Kwahu Easter celebration has not been spared.
In the midst of all this, Charterhouse’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Robert Klah, has made it clear that they are not going to cancel the event.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, he said they plan to listen to the guidelines set up by the government to deal with the outbreak but they would not cancel their event. He said the worst-case scenario is that they postpone the event until whenever the government would lift the ban on public gatherings.
The gist of the matter is – corona or no corona there will be a VGMA in 2020.
